General instructions for media usage in the Jidoka scoreboard system.<\/p>\n

The media shown on the scoreboard (team names and logos, advertisements, etc.) must be uploaded to the scoreboard system before the match via USB stick. The media is supplied on the stick to the control tablet, which then transfers the material to the scoreboard.<\/p>\n

The file transfer is explained in more detail in the category-specific instructions.<\/p>\n

File requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Image files: .jpg, .jpeg<\/strong>\u00a0yes .PNG

The scoreboard's display size is\u00a0448<\/strong> x 256 px.<\/b> This should be taken into account when preparing full-screen media.<\/p>\n

Match-time advertisement size recommendations:\u00a01920 x 1080 px<\/b>\u00a0(Aspect ratio 16:9).<\/p>\n

Log files: minimum size\u00a0400 x 400 px<\/b>\u00a0(aspect ratio 1:1).<\/p>\n

Video file resolution is a maximum of FullHD, meaning 1920\u00d71080<\/strong>. The video bitrate should be limited 5000 kbit\/s<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

USB stick pre-setup<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Create a folder named dsbController on the USB stick and subfolders within this folder\u00a0ad<\/b>,\u00a0goal<\/b>,\u00a0guest<\/b>,\u00a0home<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0media<\/b>.<\/p>\n

              Connecting an external HDMI source to a display<\/h2>\n

              Connect the desired HDMI source to the HDMI switch located in the audio rack and press the button on top of the switch. It will take approximately 5 seconds for the video signal to change.<\/p>\n

              NOTE:<\/strong>If the scoreboard system image is not displayed on the screen, check that the LED on the switch is illuminated. of the white<\/strong> On the HDMI connector side.<\/p>\n

              In problem situations<\/h2>\n

              If you encounter problems with the scoreboard, please proceed as follows:<\/p>\n

                \n
              • Please check that the connection ball visible in the top right corner of the controller is green<\/li>\n
              • If red, check that all Ethernet cables are connected to the correct ports as per the images in the previous section<\/li>\n
              • If the light is green but the system isn\u2019t working, try restarting the entire scoreboard system by clicking \u201dRestart System\u201d in the menu at the top left. This will restart the system and take approximately 2 minutes.<\/li>\n
              • If these don't help, send a message. support@jidoka.fi <\/strong>and write a description of the problem, and when the problem occurred (date and time). With this information, resolving the problem will be easier.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                If the image \u201dfreezes\u201d on screen or the text \u201dWaiting for connection\u201d appears on screen as shown in the image below.<\/p>\n

                You can reset the cable connection to the board by unplugging the power cord circled in the image below from the device located in the audio rack for 5 seconds. The connection should be restored within 10 seconds.<\/p>\n

                If videos or the buzzer sound are not heard from the hall's sound system, check that the audio devices in the equipment cabinet are switched on and that the cables are connected.
