If you wish to modify the files displayed during a match, the necessary files must be downloaded in advance. <strong>before the match<\/strong> For the USB stick, from which the match content is transferred to the scoreboard via the control tablet.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" style=\"--fontsize: 20;line-height: 1.45\" data-fontsize=\"20\" data-lineheight=\"29px\"><strong>File requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Main display resolution: <b>1664 x 936 px<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Images to display: <strong>jpg, jpeg<\/strong> and <strong>PNG<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Media files <strong>MP4<br \/>\n<\/strong>Audio files <strong>MP3<\/strong> and <strong>wav<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Advertisement file formats <strong>jpg<\/strong>, <strong>JPEG<\/strong>, <strong>PNG<\/strong> and<strong> MP4<br \/>\n<\/strong>Image and video file resolution: <strong>1920 x 1080 pixels<\/strong> (16:9 aspect ratio)<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>Logo files<strong> PNG<\/strong>, <strong>JPEG <\/strong>or <strong>jpg, minimum 400 x 400 pixels<\/strong> (1:1 ratio). If the logo image has transparent parts, you must use <strong>PNG<\/strong>file type.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" style=\"--fontsize: 20;line-height: 1.45\" data-fontsize=\"20\" data-lineheight=\"29px\"><strong>USB stick pre-setup<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The USB stick must be formatted either <strong>FAT32\u00a0<\/strong>or\u00a0<strong>NTFS<\/strong>-to the file system. We recommend\u00a0<strong>NTFS<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Create a folder on the USB stick called <strong>dsbController<\/strong> and subfolders inside this folder <strong>ad<\/strong>,<strong> goal<\/strong>,<strong> guest<\/strong>,<strong> home <\/strong>and<strong> Media.<\/strong> File <b>s<\/b><strong>styles <\/strong>With this, you can edit the scoreboard styles.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/jidoka.fi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/uusi_dsbcontroller.png<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>advertisement <\/strong>Advertisements displayed on the scoreboard during the game, which can be images and videos. The logo is an image named \u201dguest\u201d and the name is a text file in .txt format, with the team name on the first line. The text file name can be name.txt or guest.txt. If the two-game mode is to be used, the name of the second away team can be name2.txt or guest2.txt.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>https:\/\/jidoka.fi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/menu3-kopio.png<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>home <\/strong>Content corresponding to the guest folder, but with the logo filename being an image file named home. The default buzzer can be replaced with an audio file named horn.mp3 as the scoreboard buzzer. If the file is not in the folder, the system will use the default sound.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>https:\/\/jidoka.fi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/menu5-kopio.png<\/p>\n<h2>Automated announcements and team sheets from the Ice Hockey Federation's results service<\/h2>\n<p>The Myyrm\u00e4ki scoreboard system allows for the use of automatic announcements as well as uploading match line-ups, team names, and team logos directly from the Finnish Ice Hockey Federation's results service. Below is a printable link for more detailed instructions on their use.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a style=\"color: green\" href=\"https:\/\/jidoka.sharepoint.com\/:p:\/g\/EcUEeqpx9LxJgUnbToihweUBhTky5DrNTUMnWzos2F2laQ?e=MJoXdi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Automatic announcements and ice hockey federation results service<\/a><\/strong>https:\/\/jidoka.fi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/nokia_styls-196&#215;300.png<\/p>\n<div class=\"fusion-title title fusion-title-2 fusion-sep-none fusion-title-text fusion-title-size-one\">\n<h3 class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"34\" data-lineheight=\"49.3px\">Changing the input source on a large screen<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-12\">\n<p>To display an image from an external source, the VX600 has a built-in feature. <em>\u201dpreset\u201d<\/em> which to change to when using an external source via HDMI.<\/p>\n<p>The device has the following presets ready:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Preset 1<\/strong> \u2013 For the scoreboard<\/li>\n<li><strong>Preset 3<\/strong> \u2013 For external HDMI<\/li>\n<li><strong>Preset 5<\/strong> \u2013 Print track whose centre is external HDMI<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Connect the HDMI cable to the desired source and then press <em>\u201dPreset\u201d<\/em> a button that opens the menu. Select <strong><em>\u201dPreset 2\u201d<\/em><\/strong> by rotating the dial on the right side of the screen and pressing the dial in. In the new dialogue, press <strong><em>\u201dLoad\u201d<\/em><\/strong> by pressing the button again. The image has now been changed on the screen. <b>The preset also changes the audio source, so the sound will come from the device connected via the HDMI cable.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>To return the image to the scoreboard, press <strong><em>\u201dPreset\u201d<\/em><\/strong> the button and select <strong><em>\u201dPreset 1\u201d<\/em><\/strong> by rotating the selector to the correct position and pressing it down. This will restart the system and take approximately 2 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>If you are experiencing sound issues, please check that the XLR cable coming from the scoreboard control cabinet is connected to the stadium\u2019s sound system and that the system settings are correct.<\/li>\n<li>When using the scoreboard image, it is important to ensure that the correct Preset (Preset 1) is being used on the VX600 Pro device, which has been correctly configured for scoreboard use.<\/li>\n<li>If these don't help, send a message. <strong>support@jidoka.fi <\/strong>and write a description of the problem, and when the problem occurred (date and time).
