Jidoka's most important recruitment channels have been student internships and various retraining and employment programmes for many years. Many of Jidoka's employees have joined the company through summer jobs or internships. We believe that a company develops together with its employees, and that beginners should also be given the opportunity to develop and learn.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jidoka's values include care, trust, honesty, and equality. Therefore, employee well-being is of paramount importance to us, and we genuinely care about our employees. This means that we constantly listen to, support, and coach them. Many trainees describe that a sense of meaning is quickly established. In the words of one trainee: \u201c<\/em>Throughout the whole training period, I've had the feeling that I am welcome, wanted, and good just as I am.<\/em>.\u201d<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Potential is the decider \u2013 not experience <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

We gave up on traditional interviews a long time ago, as we want to get to know the applicant's personality above all else, rather than their technical skills. For us, a hardworking and good person is a reliable employee and, especially, a great colleague. We want our employees to be able to learn, be willing to learn, motivated, and persistent.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead of an interview, we'll have a discussion to see if our values, expectations, and goals align. During the meeting, we'll openly discuss our values, our company, and the internship, and the applicant will have the opportunity to freely talk about themselves. After this, the applicant can take their time to consider their decision and get back to us within a few days if they see us as a potential employer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Real projects and responsibility from the outset <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

As interns, you get to immediately participate in real projects and take responsibility, as it's important to us that interns get to develop professionally and truly learn.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Job roles vary widely depending on your interests and field. For example, Jidoka has had both coders and marketers as interns. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based on previous interns\u201c experiences, the work tasks are often suitably challenging, allowing for new learning and skills development. As former intern Niko, who has now been a Jidoka employee for 8 years, describes: \u201dEvery day feels like learning something new when you encounter problems while coding.\". <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Learning happens through practical application. However, no one is left alone with their problems, as there are always helpful and encouraging colleagues by the trainee's side if needed. Nevertheless, the individual's proactiveness, self-direction, and determination are essential qualities for success in the job, especially in Jidoka R&D projects and coding tasks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well-being and caring at the heart of everyday life <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

At Jidokalla, we have a close-knit and supportive team where interns are immediately welcomed and made part of the community. We trust our interns, and their contributions are as important to us as anyone else's. Our working atmosphere has often been described as relaxed yet goal-oriented, as we work ambitiously but with a good vibe. One of the marketing interns summarised their experience like this:

Caring for employees is evident in everyday life: genuine attention is paid to their resilience and well-being, and they are considered equal team members. A good example of this is a situation where an employee felt stress due to their thesis and work pressures. The situation was noticed at the workplace, and as a solution, it was agreed that part of their working hours would be fully dedicated to working on their thesis without interruptions. Thanks to this flexibility, the work was completed on time and the workload was significantly reduced. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who is this training suitable for? <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Internship training is particularly suitable for students with a genuine desire to be employed in the field and develop professionally. Previous work experience is not essential for us; instead, the right attitude, motivation, willingness to learn, initiative, and self-direction are more important. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

An internship is an opportunity to grow as a professional, gain experience, and also bring value and your own contribution to Jidoka. We offer an environment where development is supported and where you can truly utilise your own skills. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
