Yl\u00f6j\u00e4rven Urheilutalo-Uimahalli (Sports Centre and Swimming Hall).<\/a> <\/strong><\/mark>This summer, we switched to LED, when a striking LED screen was installed on the swimming hall side during the summer maintenance. The installation work went smoothly in a very hot and humid working environment. The screen also has to withstand tough conditions due to humidity, which is why the components have been selected to withstand continuous moisture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A large LED display is an excellent choice for the Yl\u00f6j\u00e4rvi swimming hall, especially since a lot of natural light floods into the space from the swimming hall's spacious window wall. In this space too, a brightness sensor has been installed to optimise the display's brightness, and thereby also its energy consumption, to an optimal level at all times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Screen brightness is managed remotely, and if brightness levels need to be adjusted separately, this is done by Jidokan professionals. During the dark winter months, the sensor reduces the brightness to the level of the indoor lights. The screen is scheduled to turn off and on at night in accordance with the swimming pool's hours, thus saving energy while ensuring the screen is on when there are users in the hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Versatile communication for sports services and events<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The screen enables versatile communication within the space. Yl\u00f6j\u00e4rvi sports services described the screen on social media as follows: \u201dA new LED display board was installed in Yl\u00f6j\u00e4rvi swimming pool today. As usual, virtual workout sessions will be shown on the screen, and in addition it will serve as an information board.\u201d Enjoy your workouts and swims!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
