Located in Korso, Vantaa Lumon monitoimikeskus (Multifunctional Centre) was built in 2003. The multi-purpose hall is part of a complex, and it hosts indoor sports events and concerts. Following the equipment upgrade, the hall's appearance and functionality were taken to a completely new level.
Scoreboard system and shot clocks on sport's terms
Jidoka scoreboard system technology and software were connected to the screen at Lumo sports hall, and in addition, basketball shot clocks were installed above the baskets. LED light frames indicating the remaining shot time in yellow and red were also attached to the backboards.
The renewed scoreboard system offers a wide range of sports, including basketball, volleyball, and floorball. The system quickly adapts to the needs of different sports, making it an excellent solution for multi-purpose hall use.
Smoother match tracking
The overall solution makes following the matches clearer. This makes the implementation work for both players and the audience, and creates a more professional look for events. The display can also be used to announce upcoming events and other topical information.
