Thanks to its double-sided structure, the display reaches travellers moving along the main road, holidaymakers and local residents equally effectively from both driving directions.
Using the screen, the municipality informs residents and passers-by about current events. Puumala is located in Southern Savonia and is known in particular for its striking archipelago in the heart of Lake Saimaa. It is among Finland's best-known cottage localities, and in summer the population of the area multiplies, which makes roadside advertising impactful.
