A clever double-sided 65” LCD screen was installed in the courtyard of Tampere's Pispala church, combining modern communication with a valuable cultural environment.
Pispala Church is a building of significant historical value and is part of the Pispala cultural landscape, operating in conjunction with the parish hall completed in 1949.
The church's LCD screen has been installed in the courtyard by the roadside, serving as a versatile information channel for the congregation's communication and the display of other desired content. Changing the content has been made easy through the church's local network using NDI video transmission technology. The striking installation brings modern visibility to a historically significant environment and updates Pispala Church's communication for a new era.
